FAQS

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Yes.  As vegans ourselves it is important to us that all of our products are vegan, cruelty-free and ethically sourced.

WHAT ABOUT THE CARBON EMISSIONS?

The carbon emissions from our deliveries is something that we carefully consider.   We have grouped deliveries into separated areas and scheduled in accordance with journeys that we would already be undertaking in order to minimise our fuel use.   Where deliveries are close together, we walk between them rather than doing small car journeys.   We encourage you to consider grouping together with friends and getting a delivery to one address and are looking to set up collection hubs in order to reduce our miles  -  if you have any suggestions for locations for collection hubs please get in touch.   We are a new company, as we expand we are looking to purchase an electric vehicle for zero emission deliveries - watch this space!

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

Wherever possible we use products manufactured in the UK, and we are constantly looking for new products and suppliers in order to achieve this - for example we recently switched the brand of toothpaste tablets we used from one manufactured in Germany to one manufactured in the UK.   Where we cannot source a UK made product we try to source as close to the UK as possible.   Please see individual product information for details.

ARE YOU COMPLETELY PLASTIC FREE/ZERO-WASTE?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to be completely plastic free and zero-waste and to say we are would be greenwashing.   We aim to help you reduce your waste by not delivering anything to you that you will put into landfill, and the majority of our product packaging will be returned to us for reuse.   The remaining can be reused by you, or recycled/composted.   Plastic in the supply chain is unfortunately unavoidable, however where possible we use circular suppliers - they take back their packaging for refill and reuse too.   Where this is not possible, we reuse packaging ourselves or offer out boxes, bubble wrap etc for free on social media platforms.   Anything at the end of its useful life is recycled or composted.   Please see individual product information for details of packaging and get in touch if you have any further questions.
